At this time of crisis, it is of utmost importance to make full use of all resources available.  PPCC is committed to providing you with as much up to date information as possible. The following list includes COVID-19 specific links from organizations across the globe.  Some resources are provider specific, some family specific and some overlap. A Field Manual for Palliative Care in Humanitarian Crises: There is increasing recognition that palliative care should play an essential role in relief efforts. The goal of humanitarian aid needs to include management of suffering, regardless of expected outcome.

Prayers for Those Affected with COVID-19: Prayers written or adapted by chaplains from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The following organizations are offering free educational resources during this time of crisis:

CSU Shiley Institute for Palliative Care – a wide selection of online palliative care courses are available free of charge through June 30.

Center to Advance Palliative Care:  All COVID-19 Response resources and online courses have been made publicly available free of charge.

ELNEC: materials including some ELNEC modules for use in training and supporting staff modules and resources are available at no cost

Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association:  POLARIS Module 13: Integrating Self-Care Strategies. free of charge until 5/1/2020

Respecting Choices:  COVID-19 tools and resources that are currently free and open to all
